Hello SLP World! We are less than a month away from ASHA 2017: Will you be there?
I will be there in full force–now I’m prepping, planning, making freebies, etc. I would love to say “hello!” and hear your ideas about how our field can keep improving the ways we offer person-centered care, especially for the adult neuro population. Here’s how you can track me down in Los Angeles this year:
- Come to my vendor booth! I am #1563. If you look at this vendor map, I am in the purple section. I will be there the majority of the time that the exhibits are open. I AM GOING TO HAVE A VERY FUN AND CREATIVE FREEBIE IF YOU STOP BY!
- Thursday, Nov. 9, 3:00-4:00. I am speaking with the fabulous Becky Khayum and Treasyri Williams . Let’s Get Real: Functional Interventions for Adults with Neurological and Neurodegenerative Disorders.
- Friday, Nov. 10, 3:30-4:30. I’m speaking again! This seminar is chock-full of functional, person-centered ideas from evaluation to treatment to home program. Let’s Get Real: Person-Centered Care for Adults, 101.
