The Problem: Having a brain injury or medical setback is hard. And scary. But somehow that person needs to find a way to see the positive aspects of recovery.
The Solution:The Positive Thinking Cards were created as an inexpensive but thoughtful tool for patients to take with them as often as needed. They are patient-centered and include sayings or reflections that the patient can meditate on or put as a visual reminder.
How I Use The Positive Thinking Cards:
Step 1: Print. So many options for these cards! My favorite is printing in color on cardstock paper (I’ve tried white, ivory, metallic silver). From the download, print in Landscape and Multiple for notecard size.
Step 2: Give a card to someone who needs it. I found this adorable vase at Target (only $4 on clearance by me!) to display the cards in my office. If you want to print the same label I used for my vase, here it is: Positive Thinking Card Box Label
*BONUS: These also work really well as a Discharge Session token–you can write a quick personalized note on the back for the patient!
Let’s spread some cheer with the Positive Thinking Cards today!
Looking for some resources for a patient and came across this. This would be a great activity and resource for the patient in mind. However, when I click on the link for download it says it is unavailable. Any chance you are still able/willing to provide this download? I currently hold an Activity Studio subscription and frequently purchase materials from you! 🙂
I’m emailing you Claire! 🙂
Hi Sarah! I would love to download these cards, but the link is not working. I/My Facility has purchased items from you in the past and I LOVE them! Thank you!
I sent your way 🙂
Hi Sarah, What a wonderful resource you have created. I would also love to receive these positive thinking cards for my clients if possible. Thank you so much!
I updated these in 2023! They are now in the Activity Studio. I will email you also! http://www.honeycombspeechtherapy.com
