Who does this policy apply to?

This policy regulates anyone using the Honeycomb Speech Therapy website. www.honeycombspeechtherapy.com. Our Website and its content is directed to individuals who are at least 18 years old or older.

Honeycomb Speech Therapy reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by notifying its Users on this page and possibly within honeycombspeechtherapy.com and possibly sending a notice to Users via any contact information available to Honeycomb Speech Therapy. What information is collected and stored?

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. If you don’t provide an email address, you will be unable to create a user account to access purchase history.


Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance : We do not collect any information from anyone under 18 years of age in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation of the EU). 

 

Do we disclose information to third parties?

Any information you give to us for the purpose of using our site or helping you is only used for that purpose. We do NOT share this information with others unless required by law. We will NEVER sell your information.

We are the data controllers as we are collecting and using your Personal Data. We use trusted third parties as our data processors for technical and organizational purposes, including for payments and email marketing.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

How do users opt out or change information?

You may opt-out of receiving communications from our partners, and from us, by the following means:

Patient Privacy for Healthcare

You may choose to enter, store, and transmit some personal information when you use your account on the website. You may enter email addresses, names, photographs, words, or other items meant to personalize the therapy or be used within an intervention, strategy, or education. Do not “save” or store any protected health information (PHI) that would violate Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. The items you add are stored within your account only and not sent to us. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Honeycomb Speech Therapy does not accept any liability for user-generated content that violates Protected Health Information.  None of this information is required to be entered to use the website; it is all optional.

Sending Emails from the Site

You are given the option to email slides from the website. If you choose to do this, an email will be sent to the recipient of your choice using Honeycomb Speech Therapy’s email account. We do not control where they go or are stored. You do have the option to share the data in other ways (e.g. copy, print, save to device, export as PDF, show on screen). We have no control of the data shared from the website by the method of your choosing.
